I had 4.10 gears put in about 2 months ago. I am thinking it would be a good time to change my differential fluid as the gears are probably fully broken in. Is this a correct assumption or is it overkill?

I plan to use 75w140 synthetic and motorcraft friction modifier.

There is no need whatsoever to do that!!! In fact, there is no need whatsoever to break in the gears in the first place. They are either done correctly or they are not. This is what Sutton HP told me. They've literally done thousands of gear swaps for mustangs.

I got on my 4.10 as soon as the car hit normal operating temps:)

Zero problems so far:bigthumbsup
