Look fantastic FD! :bigthumbsup They do take little getting used to on the road.
Thanks Stl.....I absolutely love the mirrors. I don't think pictures even do them justice. They look light years better than the stock mirrors.Look fantastic FD! :bigthumbsup They do take little getting used to on the road.
Gary, that looks awesome! I am glad you all talked me into those mirrors. Now I just need to get mine painted and installed. Your car is looking fabulous.Well I got the painted Agent 47 mirrors installed yesterday and here they are.....
I also have a bunch of pics from today's Mustang car show that I will post in the show and shine section later...
Also, I attached a picture of my GT before any mods were applied just for ha ha's....it looks weird....lol
The boot stayed at home....lol. There was one other convertible there that had it and when I saw the guy taking it off when he was about to leave, I should have watched him.....Car looks good. And the Agent47 mirrors look very good on your car.
What did you do with the boot for the convertible top at the show?
Absolutley normal. I do a full blown wash/polish the day before (some times the prior days before) a show. I get to the show, set up and start detailing all over again. During the day I will dust or lightly detail the car through out the show, mainly because of the pollen and dust that shows up on a black car.The boot stayed at home....lol. There was one other convertible there that had it and when I saw the guy taking it off when he was about to leave, I should have watched him.....
Was a beautiful day....but the pollen is still at high levels. People spent half their time dusting off their cars....lol.
I may give that some consideration. The mirrors do take a lil getting used to because the OEM mirrors paint so much more of the picture of what goin on behind you. When i first got them i could never trust my initial judgement and always had to second guess and take another looks, the Answer:
I installed 2 small circular blind spot mirror in the far corner of each mirror and it helps A LOT, with those installed you can be confident that theres nothing lurking in your blind spot!
I didn't use loctite so I may take my glass off and redo that.BTW - my glass started to rattle a lot, contacted Dave Postuma @ A47 and he was very helpfull, turns out the screws attaching the motor to the A47 housing came loose, a lil loctite and everything is great again.
You mean you want them to look great and work great too?The Agent47 mirrors do take a little getting used to because the OEM mirrors paint so much more of the picture of what going on behind you.
