On my 87 Gt, I'm replacing the condenser and dryer, but a problem has come about in that I can not loosen the nut that attaches the evaporator and dryer. I have put my homemade penatrating fluid of transmission fluid/acetone on the nut and used 7/ 8 and 1 1/16 open end wrenches to undo but no luck.

Any suggestion would help.

Try using a can of pb blaster, that stuff works great.

You may have to apply some heat to the nut.Try tightening torque to nut as well as loosening to break its seal.
