Airbag Code 52 - Tried jumping wires, won't reset

Hey everybody, I'd really appreciate some help on this one. I accidentally replaced the HD LMPS fuse in the engine bay with the positive cable hooked up, which I've read you're not supposed to do. I saw a little spark, and ever since then I've gotten the airbag code 52. I tried jumping the circuits but have had no luck. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Please help! Oh btw, it's a 96 Mustang GT.

THANKS! :)

Please help!!! It's driving me crazy! :headscratch:
wellll lol i had the same thing but resetting it worked for me... however when u put the fuse in, providing u put it in the right socket where the previous one came out, nothing SHOULD have blown... thats the purpose of the fuse:scratchchin however to alleviate the issue, if u scan it do u get any other codes other than 52?? cuz u might have actually fried an air bag sensor:happyhapp i hope for you, that its not the case but it IS possible... did u hit any hard bumps or anything like that maybe tap a curb as far as i understand it, these air bag sensors in these cars are really sensitive so if u hit something hard enough you might set it off... so i dunno u may have a faulty sensor somewhere but cant tell u what it is...
