Hello everyone! I had a minor accident a few weeks back and, long story short, a tree stump jumpped out infront of my car and the air bags went off.. since then I have done all mechanical work except the airbags are still out. The driver side airbag is held inplace by a bolt that looks like a torx with a space in the middle(has a star-like pattern with six points). Very odd bolt. Does anyone know how to take out this bolt out? I've visited many hardware stores asking people there and I've got nothing.

Also! Does anyone know if its possible to reset the air bag module insted of going back and replacing it with a new one?

Thank you for any help!!

I believe you're talking about a "security torx" head. See wiki (under "types of screw drives") for more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screw. All it takes is finding the right screwdriver -- any hardware store should have driver you need. :bigthumbsup
