I finally decided to make my fogs amber to match my 1970 Mach 1's sport lamps! Right now I just have some studio photography light filters behind my grille but I ordered a set of ShowLenses in the exact same color. I cant wait to get them in so I can actually drive around with these lights! Just from going down my driveway I didnt notice the light on the road being any different from stock until I get close to something, then I notice its yellow. What do you guys think? :bounce2:

Heck with the 11+, post more pics of that sexy mach1 you have. :bigthumbsup
Is it a yellow film over the fogs? If so I say not. But if you replace the bulb so its yellow I say go for it because that actually looks pretty good... and I usually hate that look lol.
Its a turn signal amber film. Yellow looks too Subaru lol And the only yellow bulbs I could find were an HID kit. 4 pair of amber showlenses were $25, much less expensive than buying an HID kit. And I actually like the amber look during the day, I didnt think I would. :shiny:
looks sweet, moar pics of the mach 1 plz

It does look really good. Fits the GB and stripes perfectly.:bigthumbsup
Good look!:bigthumbsuppropz on being creative!
To each their own, but just a heads up I tinted mine using Lamin-X (I did the smoke colour to darken them up) and I'm very happy with the results. The film is very thick so it'll give some protection to the bulb and the product is removable in case you want to change it to something else. They gave amber, light and dark smoke, a bluish HID like tint and clear.

Yeah I ordered some legit lens covers for it that are the same amber color. whats on it in the pics isnt permanent and would blow away at highway speeds lol

Looks really nice!
I think they look better clear!
Yea i like it,love both cars.
It looks hot, gives it a euro look. Nice combo of cars you got there.
Grabber-ragious! Awesome pair of ponies you have there. After seeing them together it makes perfect sense to me why you would want the ambers. Nice! :bigthumbsup
Show lenses suck the big one. Maybe different now, but when I ordered some for my v6 it looked like some kid cut them out from plastic projector film (really).

I ended up just changing the bulbs.. which worked perfectly. You can see much better in the rain with yellow bulbs.

I got them from here:

Nokya Hyper Yellow Light Bulb | Nokya Yellow Pro-Halogen Light Bulbs | Automotive Car Light Bulbs

It's not the warm amber color you will get with the film, but it's pretty close. They are bright.. I used to drive with the yellow lights only and could see fine.

Also, I've heard that putting a film on the headlights or fog lights can damage the lights. Heat builds up and the glass/plastic will start to fog and get little hairline cracks. I have not experienced this myself, but have heard this from several people. I was going to use tint film on my headlights, but turned to the GTS covers instead.
Thanks guys! Yeah I have heard that the lens covers could scratch the actual lens over time but I'v never heard the cracking thing. If it cracks, oh well I'll just buy some new oem fogs. But I doubt that happens any time soon if at all. I'm also fond of the amber tint so just changing the bulb wouldn't have the same effect for me. Thanks for the heads up tho! :yup:
I actually like it on your car. Normally I don't like yellow fog lights, but because, and ONLY because, it matches your Mach 1, I say awesome!
I would have voted No but after looking at them I actually liked them.

The 70 Mach 1 is awesome!
