The guys that im goin to have install my exhaust quoted my 2 differant prices for the pipes.. coated and non-coated... there's about a $25 differance in the price.. what's the differance? Pros and cons? is it a good idea to put out the extra 25 bucks to have it coated?

I believe the coating is to keep the heat in the pipes so the gases exit quicker creating less back pressure. I've heard of coated headers. Keeps the engine cooler and helps the gases flow out. Are you talking headers? I'd probably pay the $25 anyway.
nope H pipes

Then my guess is the coating is to keep the heat in the pipes and expell the gases quicker. Did you ask the guys who quoted you the prices? You know you could probably bolt the H pipe in yourself. You don't have to be a mechanic. Believe me I have less than no skills but I know I can bolt in my pro chamber when it gets here. Best of luck. Let us know how it goes.
