I was just wanting to mess around, ended up taking my dad up as well...

I started having issues, nothing technical, but I was running like 9.5+ on the 8th mile...

Last time I wasn't running anything over a 9.2- 8th.
I tried tweaking stuff "I thought" was for the better, but I ended
up with a last time of 9.66 @ 72mph.

I don't understand what the deal was. I was there for over an hr, made about 6-8 passes, but couldnt figure out the prob...
I was even able to keep my reaction time to 0.420 and below...

I've asked AM's Chris Rose about a better tune, in which he replied
he had done tons for this set up, and that I should PM a few days
later. Well I did a few times, a few days later, but have yet to have heard back from him...even tho I've seen him post lately.

Not dogging him...I understand he's busy...but its been about 3 weeks now...

If anyone has any tips on what I can change/tweak with my setup...
My info/current setup is in my signature...

Oh by-the-way, I still killed a turbocharged neon lol...was an overall
fun night...Dad was proud :shiny:

There was very little slippage, but it is alot warmer/more humidity...

Yes, I would make 2 passes, then let her sit for alittle bit.
I have a "Mishimoto Performance Transmission Cooler" on the
way...but still

the humidity and heat outside could be your problem then. Go back another day and the temp may be different and see if you run your old times.

i`d say heat too. lots of guys down here set bags of ice on top of the engine between runs, go later evening after the sun goes down. its so hot and humid here, my buddy said not many cars at the t&t last night. sounds like your hooked :D
