Anybody installed them yet? Is the factory CS package grille the only option for the upper? Does the lower billet for the 2010 fit the 2011? Anybody with pics? Thanks

I would also like to find this out.. more specifically looking for an all blacked out replacement upper grill.. but cant seem to find one!!

Ford only sells upper grille, I believe. A guy on another forum has installed them and he has a step-by-step on his Photobucket. I will have to do some digging to find it.. I think I have it bookmarked somewhere. When I find it I will post it here.

2010 grilles fits 2011 (same body)

I'm putting the ones on American Muscle on my car

Bout time someone posted this question. I am tired of google searching

If they made a metal version of the grill that comes with the pony package I'd be all over that.

Well, just bought the chrome billet OEM grille (CS factory option grille) from PartCheap.com. $257 shipped. Gonna wait on the lower grille until AM can tell me without a doubt that it will work.

I prefer the OEM Ford Dark Stainless Upper, because it's a direct replacement of the entire front grille and snaps into the body with NO modification. The American Muscle Black Billet, you have to cut apart your front grille and screw it into the frame and body. I'd recommend just doing the upper with a Ford part, and getting the lower black billet. I like it anyways...

Started with this: American Muscle Upper/Lower Black Billet

Ended with this: Ford OEM Upper Dark Stainless / Lower American Muscle Black Billet.

Im goin with the one DizoAz started out with but mine isnt silver My scheme im goin with is Kona Blue stang all blacked out so this will fit my Taste

I'm going with the chrome CS grill but haven't figured out what to do with the lower, can't find anything that seems like it would match nicely

damn that dark stainless doesn't look so dark. Wonder if there is a big difference between the dark and the chrome CS grills

2011 Mustang V6 Black Billet Grill

Got mine from American Muscle. Had dealer install after cutting away the pony grill chrome so the billet could lay fat over the remaining egg crate. Very pleased. Also have the CDC rear filler panel. Pony badges removed also.

How did you fill the holes when you removed the Pony badges?

Have have a v6 premium with pony package..and it has the grille with the chrome lines on it..Do i have to cut all of the pony and chrome completely off the grille to fit the billet?

any help would be great.

I installed these on my V6 when I first got my car (in fact, it was the first thing I installed)

Here is what she looked like:

There is another option (or the Pony Package lovers):
Black Mustang Billet Grille (10-12 V6) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

There are two ways of installing them:
1. Hacking up your plastic OEM grille surround, so it will have a "fitted" look.
2. Omitting the surround completely and screwing directly to the bumper backing.

I opted for option 2 because I didn't want the look of the plastic between the gloss black of my car and the gloss black billet grille. IMO, it looks better as option 2.

I am just going to replace my front bumper with a GT and do the Saleen grille.

i got the American Muscle billet grilles too. However, just be weary of them. They are heavy, and the factory prongs are only made to support the plastic. i had the body shop drill mine in.... i hit a cat and my entire bottom grille fell out. billet and factory. f that cat. lol

2VipeRS how do you install your grilles exactly? did you take the stock ones out?

I ordered the black billets, that are supposed to overlay on the stock ones. But i dont like the idea of hacking my stock grille up.

Step by step instructions would be great :)
