when im driving and i shift out of gear into neuteral rpms stay high or go higher like the pedal is still depressed even though my foots off of it. it has got to do with the adjustment underneath the hood just "sticking" open. rpms stay high until i give the gas a quick shot and rev the engine, then they come back down. any ideas?
regardless if the a/c is on or off this happens. i've adjusted something that looks like a metal hinge peice with a coiled spring around it, and the rpms will go back to where they should be at idle. this seems to solve the problem temporarily (until im driving it again, then have to give it a quick rev again)
I took off the intake between the MAF and TB to clean it. I expected the tb to be convered in black gunk but it was surprisingly squeaky clean. i still cleaned both sides of the 'plate' but still didnt see a difference when driving...
