Not sure on the install but I plan on getting the SLP from Lethal Performance
I was looking at the slp kit.. does it run off of only one solenoid?
I have the SLP kit and will be installing it in the morning. Looks pretty straightforward and simple to install. I'll have to let you know how it turns out tomorrow. $150 @ Brenspeed.
Yea, deff let me know how it turns out, looking to buy a kit today!!
Definitely go w/ the SLP- the install is very easy. As for the mount, I drilled through the left-hand side of the console near the gearshift so I could mount my momentary switch, which I highly recommend over a toggle, etc. since you can press and hold a momentary switch (which is only on when pressed) and more easily disengage it/immediately re-engage it if needed when you want than an on-off switch is to work with (IMHO).

i was looking at the peidmont one also, u just gotta buy solenoids separately... i just ordered my SLP kit 5 mins ago.. cant wait to have it here and install it!!!!
The SLP kit says for '05 and '06. Is there something different about the '07 that it won't work?

There's another part # for 07-08. Must have changed the brake configuration slightly.
I'm using the SLP kit, real simple kit and fairly easy to install. I used my cruise control off button as the switch, I didn't want to drill any holes in the car, and the button is right there when your hads are on the wheel. There's a write up somewhere on one of the mustang sites that tells you how to do it. Basically the switch just needs a ground (the solenoid is "hot") so your tapping into the cruise off button on your steering wheel as the ground. Brenspeed has both the 05-06 and 07/08 kits for 139.95

Here's the link to the cruise control button write up:

connected my line locks to my cruise off button.

Just a heads up to anybody out there who wants to do this: the guy who wrote this DIY up FRIED a fuse and couldn't get his cruise control to work after he hooked it up that way. He advised people NOT to do it (unless of course somebody could figure out what happened).

I'd rather have a single solenoid system.

which is what the SLP setup is?

Thats how I connected mine. I used a SPDT switch to isolate the cruise.
