How much horsepower and torque can a stock AOD in good condition handle? I'm running AMS oil ATF fluid and new filter. I'm looking to install a Vortech supercharger

According to Baumann Engineering the AOD can only handle about 50hp more than a stock 5.0's output but it's very easy to upgrade:

A stock AOD isnt going to handle much..I have a shift kit and mild stall..Big trans cooler...no idea whats done internally bought the car with the trans work done..Car is holding 500 rwhp so far...After this one goes im going with a sliver fox trans..with a dirty dog non lock up convertor that trans will be able to handle 1000hp when i buy it...
