I have done the reverse. went from t-5 to AOD.

here are some things to consider. It will be time consuming. Your pedal assembly requires the dash to be nearly removed to change out.

PARTS NEEDED:
Pedal assembly,
Shifter bezel
Shifter
Tranny
clutch quadrant, clutch cable
clutch fork
flywheel and new flywheel bolts are your flexplate you have now are smaller bolts than the flywheel ones
clutch setup (pressure plate, throwout bearing, clutch disc)
Your transmission hump may need to be changed out. I didnt. Just modified my offroad h pipe to work.

i am sure I missed some of the little things. But pretty much dead on.

just replacing clutches, flywheels etc. the usual maintenance on a 5spd.

BTW, a stock t-5 is only rated at 300ft lbs of tq. Start modding the car a good bit than you will be pushing the envelope on it.

WORLD class supposedly holds 350-400 area.

Now you can get a tremec tranny that holds more than enough for a MILD car.
