no cheap parts....except the head casting itself:nono:
thats like building a mansion on a foundation of popsicle sticks
the money you pay for those bare castings,plus good valve springs,valves,and the needed machine work AND port work,you'll have spent as much $$ as a set of GOOD out of the box aluminum heads that will still out perform the procomps
they're known for having sloppy castings that dont always seal and have casting flash all over the runners
do yourself a favor
add up the price of the heads,plus the 16 valves,and a set of springs,locks retainers and valve stem seals
see where you are..then add another $200-300 for machine work and porting..tel me if you still want to go that route and have a head that gets outperformed by a box-stock head like a trickflow, afr, canfield, etc..
