I got a 5 speed manuel tranny out of an 88 2.3, to replace my auto 93 but bell housing is not lineing up with my 93 2.3. Were the blocks different from 93? Is there some kind of adapter available?:headscratch:

Are you worried about the fact that your aluminum oil pan on your '93 sticks out below the 88's bellhousing and you've got two extra bellhousing bolts? Don't be. It's not a big deal. Just bolt it up and go. Make sure you use the backing plate from the '93 (the thin metal plate that goes behind the flywheel).

The bell on my '91 is from an '85 T-bird.
