Were the axle backs new or used? You should not see reduced mileage with those mufflers..

I just finished 2 days of " testing " my new fr500s axle backs...they should come with a warning of greatly reduced mileage.

That's what I was going to say. You tend to want to hear the new sound so you stay in it longer. That can pretty much be said for any performance mod though.You do when you like to hear them at WOT.

It does improve with age, a little, as the newness wears off . . . but not much!
