What would be a better choice for a 2011 V6? Axle-backs are obviously cheaper, but how do they compare in terms of sound quality and drone?

my car sounds awesome with only axle back with an x pipe. i will have the full cat back completed next week and i will post a video. my car is a gt but you can get an idea of what it will sound like!

Your GT sounds nice, but the V6 is a different ballgame.

My understanding is that the GT comes with 2.5" piping stock, so aftermarket midpipes don't add anything other than [possibly] slightly smoother mandrel bends, which *in theory* could create modest performance gains but wouldn't affect exhaust note. The V6, on the other hand, comes with 2.25" pipes stock, so going to 2.5" pipes could have an impact on the overall exhaust tone.

holy crap, thats sound very awesome. Im not a fan of x pipes but wow. that axleback system has got me thinking Thanks for a sound clip of the idle, the bread and butter imo
