Well Everyone,

If you didn't read my "My 2011 is not being delivered!" thread, I was one of the 18 vehicles that had to be scrapped. Well I am sending out a BIG THANK YOU to Jeff @ Yocum Ford (05fordgt from TMS) and the higher ups at Ford because I am getting my car (sort of). They found my exact car at another dealership and it has already been delivered to Jeff. I am picking it up Saturday June 26th!!!

When I talked to Ford management they were doing everything they could to either rush a new order through or locate a vehicle. Well the later happened and I can't wait to take delivery!

Jeff took a couple quick pics when it was delivered today....

Congratulations! that is great to hear Ford and your Ford dealer did the right thing. I have a feeling that Ford wants to get this right, although the release has been slower than everyone wanted.

Can you send me your VIN and build date? As I've mentioned before I'm trying to figure out a few things about the 2011 GT/CS mustang. So far there have only been 2 build dates.

Thanks! The VIN# is 1ZVBP8FF4B5118599. I think the build was 5/6/10. I didn't check when I looked up the window sticker. I won't be picking up the car until next Saturday.

Congratulations! great to see that Ford's doing the right thing....now if they would work on CS giving accurate info to everyone else.....however, I do believe that they're trying to get the cars out with no problems, which will make everyone happy in the long run:bigthumbsup

I was talking to people that were pretty high up the corporate ladder to resolve my situation.
