Installed on my stock shifter- my 2 cents feels much better to me. Get a positive click into each gear where in the past would be inconsistent. Also no high rpm lockout between 2-3 as I had in the past.

A pain to get the 4 allen screws in with the car on jackstands especially the top 2, not much room in the tunnel for any tools. I had to use the 1/4 allen bit with a open end wrench to tighten them.

I originally did the same thing with the bracket on the stock shifter. Helps a lot. You should think about getting the shifter in the future. It will be like night & day. I promise.

I hear ya. I did mine 6 months in with the shifter. I had the car on front ramps and it was a bear getting to the 2 top bolts. Few months later I brought it to a garage to have the oil changed ( I supplied my own oil and filter) and while she up on the rack I brought along my Allen key and checked for tightness. Couldn't tighten any more. Oh, I did put a small dab of blue lite tight on the threads first time.

i did my friends in about 30 min which included jacking it up and figuring out what direction the bracket needed to go 6 times. I had no problem tighening the allen bolts with a regular allen wrench key.
