I did the exact same thing, except I turned my battery cross wise. The plates run from side to side the way you have yours, leading to bent plates with hard launches. With the battery turned side to side, the plates are front to back and cannot bend as easily. Was kind of tight, but still clear the tire. I will post pics tomorrow, as I need to update my profile.

Dollar...Looks great I'm planning to get the same one, I dont carry the spare anymore and I'll have to move my Bottle.

What do you guys think about putting the batter in the spare tire hole?

Thats kind of what I thought, I do have a bag in the right rear spring but I realy want the weight on that side to. Time to move the bottle, the bummer is I wasn't planning ahead so I'll have to lengthen the wires for my bottle heater. I also have to put a cut off switch on it since my car sees a lot of track time.
