the passenger side of the motor had the lifting bracket for pulling motor. The smog tube that ran down to the H pipe attached to the lifting bracket.

Any suggestions for a nice re routing of the smog tube since i had to remove the lifting bracket?

Thanks guys!

I also have the BBK Shorties, and I also removed the engine lifting brackets.
The smog tube is only secured to the H pipe and the solenoid/valve hose. It's on there nice and tight.

I remember there was something attached to mine when I installed my headers.

I ended up using a cut off wheel to cut the left "Leg" off the bracket and ground the inside of it to fit over the header pipe.

I think i reused one of the old header bolts and bolted the bracket back on, then bolted that smog assembly back onto the modified bracket.

If you need pictures i can try to take some tomorrow afternoon. Its 3am and I dont feel like it right now lol

So the rubber hose at both ends was able to support the metal tube running down past the firewall. Maybe a few zip ties should help too!!

Thx
