after 2 years of my 5.0L sitting in the garages, all stripped (motor rebuilt) i finally fired her up yesterday afternoon...god it felt good to hear...
One question, lol...i can't seem to find the choke to turn it down because it's revving at 2,000rpm's

Clean that frigging IAC valve.
(whats up with those things?, Ford built one heck of a paper weight whan they designed that darn IAC valve) I dont see many other cars with so much idle problems.

It's either that or a vacuum leak. Very possible with it sitting that long to miss something.
fixed it...it was a vacuume leak!!
