Hi! Congratz on your car... just do a search for CAIs and make up your own mind... In short; If you don't wanna tune you need the K&N, if you wanna tune (and you should!) most seem to like the C&L and the JLT. There is the question if the C&L gets hot, but it can also take heat if you wanna add NOS later...

if you get the Steeda, you will have to reflash your car, (get a tune). It's a must, otherwise your car will have so many problems.

thanks guys....i think imma buy a retuner so that i can Tune my car for the better CAI's. Predator or Xcalibrator 2.....y?:eyebulge:

LOL, you're opening all the cans of worms aren't you... again do a search for tuners , tune, tunes, CAI, etc. I really like the X-Cal-II over the Predator... some will disagree, most will agree, especially professional tuners and shops! :winks

Not trying to "stir the pot" but, Predator never had to make a "Predator II" for the 2005.

Hows your new clutch and flywheel? Can you give details on instl and results. I am very interested. Any motor vibration with lighter flywheel? I bet the hook up is better.

Right on! They came out with a better unit initially, not for tuning but the data logging and that's what SCT corrected with the second version...

My frigging flywheel and clutch is still at the shop, has been since June, or was it May!! It's a scheduling thing, long story short, not mine or the shops fault, there is a third part involved... hopefully any day, week now... (The same goes for my P&P heads... and before the clutch and heads is done my S/C is just laying there in it's box, since July! :sterb: )

I hear ya. It took my body shop 4ever to do a few things for me as well. Ya gotta be patient I guess with the mod stuff, or we will crack.
