best non-lowered susp. setup?

Hello, All! This is my first post, but I have been hanging around for a little while.

I have noticed all the sport suspension setups lower the car. I would like the best suspension for handling (like road racing) that I can get without lowering my 90 GT. I would love to hear everyone's suggestions. Thanks!

I used a Bullitt Suspension on my 92 GT and it only dropped the car about 3/4" all the way around. It handles incredible and the ride is better than it was stock!
yes, i already have the sub-frame connectors. But that is all I've done as far as handling or suspension.

I dont know if I should just get really nice shocks and replace the oem springs with oem again. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction to find great performance shocks with stock height springs?

I cant lower the ride cause the crossover in my custom 3" duals hangs pretty low and scrapes alot as it is.
