Supposedly those old corrolas are a blast. They're light, RWD and the reason there's a drifting scene. 200 whp in that thing would be fun.

I also worship everything ICON. I love obsessive over engineering.

The "Subaru" he was referring to was the Scion FR-S... practically the same car! The only real difference between the two is their badges, much like the Laser and Daytona, Breeze and Stratus, etc.

I'd take this one in a heartbeat over most of the others... all personal preference. Looks 100% track ready, and might even be more of a driver's car than the Corolla.

Where is the 1940 Ford with the Coyote 5.0 engine? Ford is now making the 1940 two door coupe body for sale to the public. Someone obviously bought one and finished it with the new Coyote 5.0 and drivetrain. It is at the SEMA show. I am surprised it was not included in this group of pictures.
