Best Tire/Wheel/Price Combo?

I've read the thread on tires about a month ago, and I think I've got a pretty good handle on what I'd like. My question is more about wheels. Are all wheels equal structurally? What type of wheels would I buy if I only want to mount some drag radials on them and race 'em about twice a month or so. They don't need to look all that great, but they need to be relatively cheap.

And also, I assume that all drag radials are street legal, so when I'm headed to the track, can I legally drive with them on?

As far as tires go, I want the most agressively sticky street legal tire there is. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Also, my car is a '99 Cobra. I'd like to know the wheel size/ bolt pattern/ tire size I need that will fit without any problems. Basically, I just want to call someone up or go on a website and tell them I want [insert info here], have them shipped to my door, jack my car up, and switch tires/ wheels. Then go tear someone a new one.

BTW, I am only buying the rear tires/ wheels. I'm assuming that I don't need front drag tires, am I right?
I know I'm asking for alot of info, but I'm really clueless. Please help.

For best help try a place that sells tires. I mount tires at Sam's Club, college student, and I've been looking through the books for the best combo for my 2001 mustang gt. It all depends on the tire width your looking for, I currently have 265/35r18 on chrome mach 1 wheels with a width of 9" the book tells me that I can go up to 275/35r18 on that rim. Sam's sells some BF goodrich's for about 150.00 give or take depending on the size, and yes they are street legal, as long as a tire has tread it is street legal. These tires barely have tread! I was also reading around that the mustang 99-04 gt can fit 300's on the rear, I was thinking of ordering some tires and finding out personally, I just need to find a rim wide enough. The gt can aslo go up to a 275/35r18 in the front and not rub, any thing bigger then that will require spacers or better yet, a new k-member. As for the bolt pattern and size 5 lug not sure on the size might just want to try a universal rim. Some one else might know. I was going to order my rims through summit, with there website you can just type in the make and model, and it lists every thing for that car out of there catalog, very helpful. http://summitracing.com/
