I got my new rear axle from NTO yesterday and I took off the old one today. I noticed dealing with the springs even with spring compressors is a little weird. I didn't dare do it without the compressors.
So when putting everything back together tomorow, what is the best way to put the springs back in?
Since all I did was unbolt the Shocks and Sway Bar when I changed my springs (no Spring Compressor needed on the rear), I would say get the upper and lower control arms hooked back up and stick the springs in, then jack up the housing and hook up the shocks and sway bar and anything else you have not hooked up.
Ya, I finished it Sunday. Been driving all week now and it's smooth the way it's supposed to be.
It went together the way you guys said. I used a lot of jacks in different places to line everything up smoothly. It was easy.:smoke:
