I drive a lot of highway and long distance trips and looking for the best way to protect the paint. Do the clear bras work, which ones are best, do they yellow? Are the vinyl bras a better option, which ones fit the best, are easy to install? What about a paint sealants, do they work, what brand is the best? Thank you.

Just ordered my first Mustang (2012 GT Prem Convert - Ingot Silver Metallic, Charcoal Black w/Cashmere, Manual, Brembo, HID, Security, Comfort, Camera) and would like to keep it forever.

Welcome to AFM! I have no experience with the clear bras but a lot of people use them. Do a search here and you'll turn up some good threads with that info. I would stay away from the vinyl bras unless you plan on constantly taking it off to clean and adjust it. Debris will get trapped underneath it and wreak havoc on paint. Over time the paint will fade as well. As a temporary measure they can work well for trips but for regular use I wouldn't recommend it.

Thanks for joining and keep us posted!
