Best way to remove emblem/badge?

Park it in the direct sun for a few hours or using a blow dryer to heat it up. Then use some 10lb test (or less) fishing line and use it to slice your way behind the emblem to separate it from the adhesive. Then use some mild bug and tar remover to get rid of the adhesive.

I just did this the other day to my new SUV to take off the dealer emblem. Took me all of 1/2 hour

Yep, that works alright...:bigthumbsup

How about putting the 4.0 emblem under the running pony? I don't think it looks bad there.

The thing about those after market emblems is that they don't hold up well after a year or two. They are plastic and the paint tends to fade. Removing the factory emblem will leave one or two mounting holes I think, so I am not sure the 4.0 emblem will cover those.

Try it out see how you like having the two emblems The 4.0 would be easy to remove if you wind up not liking it.
