Hey all, I'm hosting a big dual run on sunday may 24th. The meetup will be Sunday May 24th at 10AM at the Apache creek golf course ( 3401 S Ironwood Dr Apache Junction, AZ 85120). There will be 2 routes with this run. Both groups will cruise together out of town on the US 60E. We will ride to the town of Miami, where the groups split. The Rally group will head north on the 88/188 to the 288, aka Globe/Young hwy. The 288 is a combination of both asphalt and dirt road. The rally goup will follow the 288 all the way north to the 260 E ( after young, the road turns into the 512), and then head east into Show Low.
The street car group will follow the 60E all the way up to route 73, which takes a loop through white river, and pine top, then north to Show Low. We will meet up at Native Grill in Show Low right off US60 where we will have lunch. Afterwards, we can cruise up the street for pictures at Fool Hollow Lake. The return trip for East siders will be back down the 60. The return trip for West siders will be 260W to I17 S. I think this will be fun for all, as there's a little bit for everyone. Those with Go Pro cameras are encouraged to bring them, as we'll collect the footage to make a big video from this cruise.
