Oh yes it's possible! Trailer hitch with 2-bike rack installed today. Works great, and easy to get the bikes off and on. I know some may think it is blasphemy, but hey its my only car and I need to take our bikes sometimes. The entire rack is easy to remove when not in use.

Still missing a tow hitch and a roof rack with a pull behind camper to complete the package.

I transport my bike and my two grand kids' bikes with my Mustang convertible, which is a SPORTY CAR, not a sports car, and is being used as such.
Anyone claiming its a SPORTS CAR that should not transport a bike has probably never owned a real sports car, of which there have been many over the decades.
ENJOY transporting your bikes on the rack with the hitch thqt can hardly be seen without the rack attached.instead of having to throw them in your truck or wherever.
BTW, I have also seen Mustangs going to the trqck utilizing their hitch to trqnsport their racing tires.

Great idea. But how much weight can it before it squats to much? I have a four mount rack that weighs over 50 pounds itself. That plus the bikes might be dragging...

I would never defile a sports car with a bike rack, but to each his own
I guess you wouldn't have appreciated my BMW M Coupe (a REAL sports car) with it's Yakima roof rack. It worked great for my full suspension MTB.

For the Mustang, I just can't bring myself to put a trailer hitch on it, so I make do with my beater (for sale) Explorer.

It's like taking your Ford Explorer to the track and running 11's.
