im looking for a blower to push a 290rwhp car into 400rwhp without a intercooler on my Hypereutectic pistons with a street/SAFE!!! tune
already have
arp head blots
valve-springs
head gaskets
i will be getting
*used centri it
*42 pound injectors
*pro m mass air
*255 fuel pump
*power pipe and crank pulley if i need to up boost
*dyno tune!!!!
*will i need a boost timing box/fmu/trex pump if im going to get a custom tune

do some blowers "spool up faster"?

so what you think s-trim/ novi2000/ sci-trim /novi1000 and how much psi?
dont want to go pro-charger or turbo because of $$$$ and cali-smog

the weak link is going to be those pistons. hypers scare me with anything more than 4-6 lbs of boost. they are brittle.

Are you set on a supercharger setup? id say turbo all the way

Ever consider just doing a 331/347 stroker motor? They will put out more power without the worry of all that forced induction nonsense which is very expensive: $/hp...even a 30 over 306 can put out 400hp/motor
Besides that, I'm running 12psi on my stock lower with my Kenne Bell, they clearly put out more torque at a lower RPM than any other type of blower, whether you can get 400rwhp will be more a function of tuning and octane than your blower/internals...
I'm always curious why people have some magical hp number they are trying to acheive...

Looks like you'll need ~8 psi of boost, so any of the lower boost SC's can get you there. The Vortech V3 and Paxton 1220 should do it with a 3" pulley and are very good units.
