I can't find a way to adjust the bluetooth ringer volume; I can barely hear it and the ringer volume of the phone is maxed. Other cars I've had, you adjust the ringer volume ... am I missing something?

Have you checked to see what sound profile it's on? You might need to set it to "outdoor". If your unsure what I'm talking about, you can go to options, sound profile, and it should have choices like "normal", "outdoor", "silent", and "driving". Now I know phones are different, but this may be an option on yours. Hope this helps.

To clarify, this is the volume of the incoming call ringtone from sync, not from the phone itself. Phone I can hear fine, sync, not so much. Only reason I know I have an incoming call is because the music mutes.

While the phone is ringing through Sync, turn the volume knob up. Same with the navigation voice; you can control how loudly she gives directions with the volume knob while she's talking.
