when your car runs less boost than setup provided it's more "free flowing" correct?

all superchargers have bypass valves, so if the car is not under boost then basically it's running NA or "free flowing" if you like.

The term free flowing generally refers to how easily an engine breaths. A larger MAF, TB, ported intake, ported heads, and full exhaust are all things that make an engine free flowing since they help move air through the system at a better rate than stock. I think this answers what you were asking.

pistons/full exhaust lowers boost yes or no and it's a good thing if it does right because the engine's flowing better than expected.. correct or incorrect?
