It all depends on what kind of horsepower you are looking for. At a minimum, you should be doing a forged crank and forged pistons with a good set of rods (I have some nice H Beams in mine). If you are going to stick with the stock block, a stud girdle is a good idea too. But . . if you really want to get nuts on the HP . . . you need a better block than stock. Sportsman blocks (from Ford) are good and nicely priced. But, if you have the cash, go for a Dart or World Products block. I'm getting north of 400RWHP on a stock block, but its about at its limit. I have a stud girdle, but that won't help if its decides to split in the lifter valley area.

As far as Heads . . . I liked my AFRs . . but I like my TFS High ports even better. On the cam . . . consider going custom. But . . if you want a nice E303 . . . I have one laying around that I'd sell cheap.
