Brake Lines

I am installing 95 Cobra brakes on my 89 hatch. I ordered SS braided brake lines for a 95 Cobra, Do i need any adapters to get the brake lined to screw into the metal lines coming from the master Cylinder, or do they just bolt right in?

94-95 Use different master cylinders, you will need a 3 to 2 port conversion.

Check out this site.

I am keeping the brake drums in the rear, i am just talking about bolting up the brake hoses, will i still need to change the master cyliner?
Maximum Motorsports Front SS Braided lines are a direct bolt up with no grinding needed.
so i would have to grind the fittings on the Cobra brake hoses to get them to fit, where??

Some Aftermarket SS lines do not fit into the bracket where the hard line meets the soft line, so it requires grinding out to make it fit.

You can look at the web site for ford racing and then type in the M2300K brake kit and look at the part list and you can find it on there. You could also just buy a set of lines from Maximum Motorsports as they are a direct fit, will have the right banjo bolts, will not require you to grind or relocate the bracket.

On the link I posted first they sell the 3 to 2 port conversion hardware. If you are putting on Cobra brakes from a 95 you need to upgrade your master cylinder.

Read that guide.
the ford instructions kit says use WeatherHead fitting #7828 to install the right side brake line, they say the left side brake line should fit normally. I visited the website flowline.net and they had a brass fitting by this number. Has anybody used this, will it work??
