I have a 89 Stang, with the usual 4 lug drum brakes in the rear.... Well I was going to rotate my rear tires so I dont burn up the passenger side rear to quick.... well, on the second lug, I broke the lug and stud off completly!

I was just woundering if it is possible to driveit safely on three studs for a week untill I have the time and money to repair it?

I don't know about tightened RIGHT, but someone held the air wrench on them WAYYY to long! I figure that's why the one broke!

I've driven for a while with missing/broken studs on 5 lug wheels before.... I just wasn't to sure about the 4 lug wheels though.

Thanks for the help!

That reminds me of a guy at my school.. Brand new Echo, with three temp tires..... I never did figure out how he had enough money for a band new car, albeit cheap, and not enough for three used tires which would have been all of $60

Well she isn't operating anymore :( There was semi heavy fog today so I turned on my park lights, and lets just say when I got to school, I forgot to turn them off :(

I had a friend take me to my house to get a battery out of my 4X4, but it still wouldn't start up, and there was a ticking noise, which said friend commented that it was comming from the solinoid, so I went and got another, but yet the same ticking sound.... I'm hoping both batterys are dead.... And it's not the starter (Which I don't think it should be?) :(

Oh yea, I just sold a rifle.... How much does a Stud and a serpintine belt cost in your area (just woundering, i've never purchased either)?
