After the contentious rollout of the Mustang Mach-e that infuriated mustang loyalist. I mean owners of the real Mustang, Karma has hit Ford.

After infuriating reservation holders of the new generation Ford Bronco, plagued with months of delays, OEM tires that said WRANGLER on the sidewall, and general quality issues, 40 owners have reported complete engine failures with their 2.7L equipped Bronco with as few as 1000 miles. These are just 40 known who posted on the Bronco web site.

2.7L blown engine fail list . . 40 so far [Feb 25 update]

Yup! Engineering that has forgotten QA processes! Failure analysis has to be done before it arrives to the customer!

Scratch more Bronco engines. The count of failed engines is now 50.
Yes, I'm really not surprised!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1) The series of engines 2) Mfg Plant (new/inexperienced) and 3) Fords QA is in a world of hurt across the board.. so how can anyone expect a different outcome

I have to take my hat off to the Bronco6G crowd. They pinned the thread and already have over 3800 replies since the thread started in December 2021. They have a list of references, what-to-do if your engine fails, and a method for confidentially reporting problems and having discussions.

Between delays rolling out the Mach-e and the Bronco and then seeing multiple engine failures it doesn't leave me with a good feel for Mustang7G.

But there is always someone who will give praise to the long wait to get his order filled. As one B6G member said when his engine did not have an AA build code. "Thank you I guess the almost 2 year wait was sort of a blessing in disguise."

The count for Bronco Engine fails is now 55 . And the 55th incident was a replacement engine. Meaning the owner will be on their 3rd engine when it is replaced. Many Ford B6G owners aren't feeling the love.
