Bumper swap??

I have the opportunity to get a 2001 Cobra front bumper for an awesome price. Will it fit right up to my 99 GT? Someone told me once that they dont line up right on GT's. Need to know ASAP may be picking it up friday.

From my understanding the 99-04 Mustangs have the same style of front bumper mounting points so it should bolt up with no problems. Make sure it is NOT a fiberglass bumper because they are harder to work with and are heavier than urethane. Also the urethane bumpers will not have paint fade as bad as a fiberglass bumper will and are more forgiving if you get to close to a sidewalk.

If its a true factory fascia, he won't have to worry about that. All of the factory stuff is polyurethane.

Not to keep beating a dead horse here but you should have no problem with the fit. I thought you might want to see a pic of one installed on my 99GT.

Nice pic! Thanks for the help guys. I am going to get it next week. Get it repainted and on by the first of the year I hope.
