I just ordered a take-off GT bumper from ebay, and it doesnt come with any bolts or whatever is needed to connect it (sorely unknowledgable in this area). Does the GT bumper connect the same way the v6 does, letting me use the existing factory stuff, or will I need to order new parts from ford?

Be carefull, if you own a V6 and going to a GT bumper, there a little more info you need to consider, I did converted my V6 with a front GT facia and theres other parts that are different between a V6 and a GT.
As far as fittment to the body they are exactly the same, but some other small pieces around are different, it would cost you aroud 60$ of other items to fix it
You will need to replace these:
- Front fender liners (since the shape of the bumper is different) 15$ (2)
- Foam bumper insert (there's a little foam insert on the top of the bumber that is different from the V6 to GT, I think you can modify it to fit) 10$
- Need to add a plastic guard under the bumper (look under a Gt and yoy will see a plastic bottom under the bumper that is not present on the GT) 40$.
If you want more info PM me and I can send you a detailed instruction including Ford part#.
