Here I am back with another dumb question. I was about to install my C & L induction unit, and was sniffing around to check I had all the right tools...
most of it is really straight forward, but there is one factory clamp on the stock induction that does not have a screw to open it...do you squeeze it with pliers to open? or is there a special tool for these stock clamps, before I just rip the thing off?
thanks
If anyone has any other C & L install tips....love to hear them.

Been so long seen I have seen the stock airbox and intake tube on mine I honestly don't remember, but it seemed that they were normal screw style clamps.

Which one are you talking about? All you really need to do is remove the bolt at the fender and the clamp at the throttle body. Then you pull back the red clip on the MAF harness an un plug it. The hose on the other side by the throttle body has a little green slide that releases so you can pull that off. Then the whole thing comes out intact.
