I just recently bought a 1968 mustang gt convertible. The car was working great until today when it stalled and then died. The engine will turn but not fire. I think it might be the fuel pump because it doesn't look like the filter has any gas in it. What else could the problem be?

Hi,

No gas in the filter sounds like a gas problem. Is it half full or just empty?

If it is empty then it is something before the filter like the pump or a blockage in the lines.

Check the tank has some gas in it also :gringreen , your fuel gauge could be telling you lies.
