First of all, sorry if my English isn't perfect but I live in Belgium -Europe-

I'm having problems lately with my C4.
My car (66 coupe) drives perfect in all gears except reverse.

When I get my car out in the morning my reverse works just fine but when the car gets warmed up he won't reverse any more. I know of this bolt you have to turn in and then turn 3 turns out to adjust the low reverse (I think) band. I did this and the problem stays.

Any suggestions?

It sounds like maybe the low/reverse servo is weak. It is the hydraulic actuator for the band. It is located on the drivers side rear of the transmission, it is a metal cover with 4 bolts holding it in place. Reverse puts more pressure on the band which is why you have not had trouble with low gear...yet. Do you have any idea how many miles are on the transmission?

It is difficult to check the servo itself without removing the pan and valve body to apply air pressure to the servo fluid apply passage. You could try only backing the adjustment off 1 1/2 to 2 turns and see if that makes it work better. If it then works, there is a leak in that srevo or the band is worn out.

BTW, your english is fine, likely better than mine!!!!
