Hey, how's it going guys?

It's about that time where a mustang owner wants to get the horses out of his stang. I'm currently in a toss up though:

CAI vs Short Ram?

Aluminum vs Rubber?

I have a 2006 v6 4.0 mustang with only a couple alterations done so far (aftermarket exhaust, and an airaid throttle body spacer). What's the BEST intake for my car? I want an aggressive sound, with improvements in hp gain, torque and fuel.

JLT? K&N?

Help, please.

Really? I've heard that plastic gets too hot, where as the aluminum is pretty cool.

No, aluminum is more prone to heat soak than plastic. But honestly I don't think the difference in intake air temps between the two will really make much if any difference hp wise.

OP, you might get better or more knowledgeable responses to this in the S197 V6 section, seeing as how you have a 2006 V6 Mustang and not a 96-04 V8 Mustang.
