If its the Racer intake that requires a tune it will throw codes and go into limp mode. If its the other intake not a lot will happen, you will pick up some extra power but not a lot.
CAI without a Tune?
what would happin? if i hooked up my c&l cold air intake and did not tune it? (hook up a tuner) but still ran 93 octain

Why would you not tune it? Its pretty much useless without a tune.

Get an SCT. I picked my Livewire up on ebay for $200 used. That's right, $200. :smilie X3/SF3 would work just fine as well. Most of your major tune shops use the SCT software.i need to buy a tuner whats better diablo or sct help please!

The Street CAI also requires a tune.
