Calculate 1/4 mile times by 1/8 runs

My first time to a 1/8 track netted me a 9.6 @ 79mph 1/8 mile run. What would my 1/4 mile time be based on this run. I only made 2 passes before the rain started. I was using worn out BFG g-Force KDWS 255/45/17 with the stock 3.23 gears in a 97 GT 5spd

Thats a lot of MPH for a non PI car! What was your 60'? I'd say with that MPH you could pull a 14.5 in the 1/4. Is your car stock? Here's a claculator, but its not right. http://www.allfordmustangs.com/Detailed/638.shtml
My 60ft time was 2.2 spinning badly thru first gear and second gear powershift. The only mods to my car is BBK Ceramic long tubes, BBK short x-pipe w/ cats, Magnaflow Magnapacks exhaust, Tremec TKO tranny, Pro 5.0 shifter, Ram flywheel & Powergrip clutch, SCT Xcal tuner, 13" Cobra brake kit, & 17" 98 Cobra rims

Parts not installed yet but I have purchased
PI heads & intake, BBK ADJ. fuel pressure reg., BBK fuel gauge, Kenny Brown Subframes,
Yea that is a pretty high mph. My fastest time is 9.13 at 79.10 mph. And our track isnt the greatest in the world to say the least. Its either all or none, there is literally no safe medium. You either launch to hard or to light and bog. Me and my buddy have idetical cars and we both tested and tested and tested and gradually raised and lower the rpms of the launch and there was no in between. The tires either blew off or they grabbed and bogged the motor. But I ran that fastest time while spinning some. THe car has to have 8s in it. But at that speed your car should run faster times imo
I only made 2 passes. I am sure that with better tires (not worn out street tires) my e.t. would have been quicker. This was my first time to a race track so with practice I know I will run quicker. My PI head swap will be done by the end of the month. I plan on having before and after dyno #'s to list. I bought this 97 GT from some of my family and it was lady driven most of it's life. It now has 72,000 miles on the clock.
Wow

My best on the motor is only 9.19 at an even 75 mph with a 1.99 60 ft. Admittidly it was 100 degrees outside when I did it.
My car ran 9.596 in the 1/8 which gave me a 14.909 in the quarter. Congrats, you got outran by a six! :laughlitt

What was your MPH in the 1/8. I think with his 79 MPH that he could go much faster in the 1/4, especially with a 2.2 60'.

I'm not by my time sheet right now but I think it was 79 mph. My 60ft on that run was also a 2.2 and my engine pulls harder on the top end than his does. He has NPI heads and my 6 is a freak of nature, these things happen.
