If you google this dealer, you will find all sorts of "interesting" reviews.... not necessarily a shop that I would have any interests in taking a vehicle to or buying one from.... but with that said, I've seen Galpin pull similar things!

That dealerships motto must be, Small vehicles at big vehicle prices.

There was a dealership salesman on the mopar forum I frequent yesterday talking about vehicle prices and started to get defensive when confronted about these ridiculous market adjustments they tag on the price of vehicles. The more we pushed back the more arrogant he became. We crucified him.

I'm glad you guys got at him like that but I'm pretty sure Ford has taken a stand on that I have read a couple of articles where they have made mention of punishing dealers that are marking up stuff. I know everybody needs to make a living but they don't need to be just straight thieves about it

Ford has taken a stand on this and gone after dealers like this, or worse? It must have been so egregious that even a thief would be angered. The screen shot below was taken a few days ago on a local dealer website.

The only added equipmemt is a bull bumper and winch that maybe cost $2000. Things like wheels and tires are easily offset by the value of the factory wheels and tires removed by the dealer . So even if the dealer installed larger wheels and tires , that might be another $1000 to $1500 after recovery of the oem items removed. The remainder appears to be ridiculous ADM. That is 60% over msrp.

I'm actually shocked that people will tolerate this and more so that they buy at 60% or more over msrp.

Local Oxnard dealer showed up with a new bronco to show off at our Mustang club show (Ponies by the Sea) last October. Its window sticker was sporting a $50,000 markup. I looked at the dealer rep and told him I would never visit his dealership again.
