A friend of mine has a 90 mustang with a 302 roller block and just installed a hydraulic cam instead of another roller.Would the firing order be just like a old 302 or like the H.O.:headscratch:

I take that to mean he installed a flat tappet cam instead of a roller cam.

In any case, it's most likely the same as the old cam. But there are a few differant firing orders used in Windsor engines. The cam card should tell you what the order is. If not, call the cam maker and ask them.

That would be the best thing, check the cam card or contact the maker. If not, he might have more headaches coming.
