Hey fellas,
i just bought a set of factory e7te heads and am gonna try my hand at porting. I paid only 35$ so it's okay if I mess up but i'd like to have something similar to gt40 flow through them. Any suggestions or pictures for the best way to port em? I'm not interested in any valve mods just yet but porting and polishing is pretty lucrative at the moment.
Also, i've been reading around and could someone please elaborate on the difference between a flat tappet cam and a hydraulic roller cam? Preferrably with pictures
Another thing, which would my motor have? The car is an 88gt but the guy i bought it off of said it was out of a 93gt, whats the difference there?

Also, my car has a completly jimmy rigged electrical system but it has an MSD 6AL box and a blaster 3 coil. On some mornings and at random stops, it starts reving up and down from idle to about 1300rpm in short 6 or 7 rev bursts, any ideas on what that could be?
