im in the process of installing PI heads, comp or hitech cams and new intake manifold on a 97 GT. i have heard that you need to degree the cams to fit into the PI heads. is this true? o and is there really that much of a difference between the ford PI intake manifold and a trick flow? appreciate any advice given

You need to degree them to make maximum power, and ensure that the cam timing is correct.

There's a pretty big difference between the Trick Flow and the PI intake, although on an N/A car, you're not going to see huge gains.
